Labor Day has come and gone and that means my favorite time of year is just around the corner! We have lots of autumn and Halloween fabrics for any project you may be considering. And in the month of September, if you wear your favorite fall-themed clothing, we will give you 10% off on fall or Halloween fabric!

We have also gotten in a nice selection of white and cream tone-on-tone fabrics which make beautiful, subtle quilts or great backgrounds! We have lots of Christmas fabrics for that gift or decoration you are planning.

"Cotton Club" meetings will begin this month, and they will follow Thimbleberries and Patriots in Petticoats meetings on the first Thursday and Saturday of the month and the second Wednesday of each month. Cotton Club meetings should start around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday and Saturday with the Wednesday evening meeting starting around 6:30 p.m.

The sample of the Civil War quilt, Generals' Wives, is quilted and in the store. We hope you will come in and take a look. You can sign up for this block of the month until September 15th, and we will begin meetings in October to guide you through the process of making this stunning heirloom.

Also, beginning in October, after our Saturday Thimbleberries meeting, we will be doing a "Quick Gift" workshop where I will share some ideas for easy-to-make items for those on your gift-giving list.
